Dr. Daniel William Zale passed away at the age of 67, on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He is survived
by his wife of over thirty years, Sharon D. Zale, and his sisters-in-law Nancy Dieckman and Judy Byrd and his brother-in-law
Larry Creef, as well as his cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Zale, mother Joan Zale, and his brother Rory
Zale.
Dan was born in Niles, Illinois. He received a degree in Biology from Loyola University in 1978 and a D.D.S. degree from the
University of Illinois in 1983.
Dan owned a successful dental practice in Mt. Jackson, Virginia for many years and was still practicing dentistry up to the date of
his passing. All will remember Dan for his great sense of humor and a long list of jokes. He once joked that he was “changing
the world, one tooth at a time.” He will be deeply missed by his family and many patients.
