Mary Jane Wood, 79, of Charlottesville, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022. Mary Jane was born on September 10th 1943, in Charlottesville Va. She was a pediatric LPN. She was a lifelong member to the Moose Lodge(Women of the Moose), She also belonged to the fraternal order of the Eagles. She was a loving mother and grandmother And loved her dog Lilo. Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents Lacy and Virginia Mawyer. Mary Jane is survived by her husband of 58 years Harold Wayne Wood, two children Debbie and her husband Brian Straway, son Ken and his wife Karen Wood, her grandchildren Kaitlyn, Kyle, and Kevin Wood, and David Straway, and her three great grandchildren along with her sister Barbara Jean Leake, two brothers; Lacy Jr. and wife Doris and Eddie and wife Brenda. A visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, November 19th, 2022 from 11am-2:30pm at Teague Funeral Home in Charlottesville Va.
