Bethgraduated fromRandolphMaconWoman's College (now Randolph College)witha
degree inSociology. Sheearned asecond degree in NursingfromVilla Julie College (now
StevensonUniversity).Bethworked as aRegisteredNurse withJohns HopkinsMedicinein
Baltimore, Maryland. Aftermany years of direct patient care, Beth spent countless hours as
atutor for nursingstudents atStevensonUniversity.
Bethissurvivedby her husbandof 20 years, Ford, three married sons, BrettMorris (Lizzie),
Lee Morris (Amy), BrennanMorris (Chelsea)and six grandchildren. Bethis also survived by
her fatherLeslieDisharoon; three siblings, Lee Ann Tolzmann(David), Molly Wright, Carrie
Souter (Charlie) andseveralnieces andnephews.
She wasa devoteddaughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. Her kindness, generosity,
andjoyfulspirit made heradearfriend to many people. Bethwas alifelongEpiscopalian,
andafuneralservice willbe held at11 a.m.Thursday, January 12, 2023, atSt. Thomas'
EpiscopalChurch,OwingsMills, Maryland. IntermentwillfollowatSt. Thomas'.
