Ruby Coleman Taylor, 81, of Charlottesville, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, with her dedicated husband by her side.
Ruby was born on December 10, 1940, in McKenney, VA to Robert Ernest Coleman and Icy Belle Clegg Coleman. In
addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her son Steven Taylor, and her sister Betty Coleman Wiley.
Ruby is survived by her husband Ralph Taylor of 61 years, her grandsons Ryan Taylor and Joel Burgess-Taylor, and her
great-granddaughter Gianna Grace Taylor and Gianna’s mother Bethany Moubray, her daughter-in-law Lori Taylor, her
brother Robert Coleman and his wife Karen, her sister Marian Coleman Phillips, her sister-in-law Betty Lou Funkhouser,
as well as many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Prize Hill Church and Cemetery, 3291
Boonesville Rd, Free Union conducted by Pastor Lester Kennedy.
