Charlottesville VA.
Ella was born on February 16th,1947 in Charlottesville. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ella Nora Shackelford.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence H Swift Sr. Including her four brothers, Frank, Raymond, Walden, and
Richard Shackelford.
Ella was the love of her daughter, granddaughters and family’s life. She loved watching the hallmark channel especially during
christmas time. She was a graduate of Jackson P. Burley High School year ‘65, she was also a long term secretary of lawyer
Ralph Main.
Ella leaves to cherish her memories and her daughter Yolanda Nicole Shackelford and granddaughterAryawn Monet’
Shackelford, her sisters in law Ellie (Connie) Shackelford, Yvonne Shackelford and Sandy Shackelford and a number of nieces,
nephews, cousins, step children, and close friends. The family would like to thank Monroe Health and Rehab staff for your
excellent care for Ella in her last days.
