Carrie A. Stonestreet, 81


Carrie Alice Stonestreet, 81, of Lost River State Park Road, Moorefield, W.Va., died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006, at the Grant County Nursing Home in Petersburg, W.Va.

Mrs. Stonestreet was born Feb. 6, 1925, in Cross Mountain, W.Va., and was the daughter of the late Elmer and Marie Nickleson Baker.

She retired in 1986 from Rockingham Poultry in Moorefield, W.Va. after 45 years of employment.

Her husband, Glenn J. Stonestreet, preceded her in death in May 1989.

Surviving are two sons, James Kifer and Glenn E. Stonestreet, both of Moorefield, W.Va.; two daughters, Margaret Myers and Roseanna Myers, both of Moorefield, W.Va.; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.

Pastor Brad Taylor will conduct the funeral 2 p.m. Sunday at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield, W.Va. Burial will be in the Olivet Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
