Jean "Jeanne" M. Spath, 60, widow of Eric Wayne Spath, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023, atAugusta Health in
Fishersville.
She was born on June 6, 1963, in Staunton to Robert Douglas Manning and the late Jean Delores Wilson Manning.
Jeanne worked as a Field Supervisor for Westat.
Outside of her professional life, Jeanne enjoyed being a loving mother and grandmother. Her family meant the world to her, and
she cherished every moment spent with them.
Jeanne had a deep-rooted faith that guided her throughout life. She had a particular affinity for those of the Jewish faith and it
was that strong reliance in her faith and the Lord that made a lasting impact on the countless people she came in contact with.
Apart from her family and career, Jeanne had a special place in her heart for animals. She adored her dogs, Si and Raven and
loved spending time with them. Their loyal companionship brought immeasurable joy to Jean's life.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her sons, Nathaniel R. Bradley and Doug Bradley and his wife, Lauren; her
daughter, Amy Bradley Shelley and her husband, Brad; her granddaughters, Chloe Bradley, Abigail Bradley, and Felicity
Shelley; her grandson, Gabe Bradley; and her siblings Catherine Manning, Debbie Manning McFarland, and Joanna Manning
Bell.
The family will receive friends on from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Henry Funeral Home in Staunton.
