Charlotte E. Sorkopud

Charlotte E. (nee: Wease) Sorkopud, age 76, of Potomac, Md., and formerly of Harrisonburg, Va., died Saturday May 10, 2003.

She was the beloved wife of Michael Sorkopud for 43 years; loving mother of Douglas H. Watkins (wife, Brenda), Carolyn L. Earp (husband, Jack), Diana D. Kidwell, Patricia A. Figliozzi (husband, Jim) and John W. Watkins; loving sister of Elizabeth Rush, Virginia McDonald and Norma Jean Grim. Also survived by 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and other loving family and friends.

Friends will be received at Pumphrey’s Colonial Funeral Home, 300 West Montgomery Avenue (Route 28, just off I-270, Exit 6A) Rockville, Md., on Tuesday, May 13, 2003, from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., where the service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2003, at 1 p.m. Interment will be at Parklawn Memorial Park.
