Roger Max Somers, 81, of Luray, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023.
He was born on June 28, 1942, and was a son of the late Leo Joseph Somers and Elna Cave Harling.
Roger was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He owned and operated Somers Auto Sales and was a member
of the Ida Grove Gospel Church.
He is survived by a son, Jarrett Max Somers of Forest; a brother, Tom Somers of Luray; three grandsons, Mark
Alexander Somers, Trevor James Somers and Zephaniah Somers; and an aunt, Marlene Bell. He was preceded in
death by a brother, Donnie Somers.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 6, at the Mount Zion Church of the Brethren
by the Rev. Pete Campbell, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 a.m.
