Tiney M. Simpson

Tiney M. Simpson, 79, of Pendleton Nursing Home in Franklin, W.Va., died Monday, June 6, 2005, at the nursing home.

Mrs. Simpson was born Feb. 1, 1926, in Raleigh County, W.Va., and was the daughter of Rosie Bell Richmond. She was raised by her foster mother, the late Beulah Mallow.

She was a homemaker and a member of Smith Creek Church of the Brethren,

In 1953, she married Edward Clyde Simspon Jr., who preceded her in death Oct. 21, 1965.

She is survived by a son, Eddie Simpson of Franklin, W.Va.

Pastor Dan Ludwick will conduct the funeral 11 a.m. Thursday at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, W.Va., where visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin.
