Harold Lee Shifflett, 61, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at his residence in Waynesboro.
He was born on July 9, 1962, in Waynesboro to the late Edgar Mathew Shifflett and Joyce Lee Johnson Snead.
Harold was a man who never met a stranger. He had a warm and friendly nature that made everyone feel welcome in his
presence. He enjoyed working on cars and had a knack for fixing things. Fishing was another passion of his. Harold had a great
sense of humor and loved joking around. His nickname, "Crazy Man", truly captured his fun-loving spirit. He brought laughter
and joy into the lives of those around him.
Above all else, Harold cherished spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Tina Louise Puffenbarger
Shifflett; his two sons, Jeremy Shifflett and Zachary Puffenbarger; his granddaughter, Juliana Shifflett; his sister, Donna Layton
and her husband, Bruce; his half-brothers, Donald Snead and his wife, Marcie and Michael Shifflett; his half-sister, Debbie
Shifflett; his mother-in-law, Alice Puffenbarger; his nephew; Shaun Snead, his niece, Crystal Hendrix, his special aunt, Shirley
Fitzgerald; and his special cousins, Michael Locks, Doreen Holloway, Glenn Locks, Lois Demelis, Brenda Price, Ray Johnson,
and Natasha Johnson.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Vallie Shifflett and Eva Johnson; his daughter-in-law,
Shanda Shifflett; his brother-in-law, John Puffenbarger; his father-in-law, Lenford Puffenbarger; and a special uncle, Ray
Johnson.
