Joyce Anne Salmons, 78 of Woodstock passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022, in Winchester. Services will be at
11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 10, 2022, at Grace Baptist Church. Pastor Kenneth Sparks will officiate. Burial will be
at 2:00 P.M. on Monday in Prospect Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the
church.
Joyce was born on July 20, 1944 and was the daughter of the late Owen Sager and the late Mary Pyne Bailey. She
graduated from Warren County High School, class of 1962. She loved her two kitties, Mosby and Missy. She enjoyed
playing her piano, painting, sewing, watching the hummingbirds and her flowers. She loved any items representing
cats and hummingbirds. Joyce loved her family as well as many friends at church. Her faith and devotion to God was
firm and resolute. She was preceded in death by a brother, David Sager.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Eugene Salmons; 2 sons Christopher Allen Salmons (Kathleen), and Kirkland
Eugene Salmons (Susan); 2 daughters, Cynthia Dawn Fitzgerald (Frank), Karyn Suzanne Shaffer (Gary); 7
grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and a brother, Shelby Sager. Dellinger Funeral Home
