McKinsey Dale Roberson, infant daughter of Shannon and Virginia Roberson, was born on Monday, October 23, 2023 at UVA
Hospital. McKinsey passed away shortly after birth in the loving arms of her parents, surrounded by her family.
Though McKinsey’s time here was brief, she left her little hand print on our hearts, and will always be remembered as our little
princess warrior. We thank the Lord for being able to hold her, have time with her, and tell her one more time how much we
love her and always will.
McKinsey was preceded in death by her great grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was also preceded in
death by two very special people, her cousin, Lucas Fisher; and her great grandma, Marie Roberson, who would have loved and
adored her.
In addition to her parents, McKinsey is survived by her siblings, Chelsey Roberson (Jesse), Courtney Roberson, Casey
Roberson, Caleb Roberson, Chloe and Cheyanne Grimm; uncles, Paul Hoy (Victoria), Timmy Roberson (Nichole) and family;
cousins, Selena Birckhead (Jeff), Rebecca Fisher (Chad),April Johnson (OJ), and numerous other cousins; two special
nephews, Tabor and Wesson Gibson; great uncle, Tim Roberson (Denise) of TN; grandparents on both mommy and daddy’s
side, Nanny and Paw Paw Hicklin, Grandpa and Grandma Hoy and sweet Grandma and PaPa Roberson; and her dear god
parents, Christy and Travis Hodge, who are so very special to McKinsey.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at UVAHospital, and to everyone for the love and support they’ve
shown to us during this difficult time in life.
Acelebration of life memorial service will be held at a later date.
