Gladys Marie Ritenour, 90, of Woodstock, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Shenandoah
Memorial Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Antioch
Covenant Brethren Church.Pastor Dale Bennett will officiate. The family will receive friends from
10-11.
Mrs. Ritenour was born October 9, 1932, daughter of the late Preston Isaiah Spiker and Anna
Virginia Wymer Spiker. She was a member of Antioch Covenant Brethren Church. She was
preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Ritenour; sisters, Mary, Mae and Becky; brother, Sam;
sons, Brent and Wade and grandchildren, Crystal and Carson.
Gladys is survived by her sons, Gary (Debbie), Kenny and Denny; daughter, Kim (Charlie); sisters,
Juanita and Esther; brother, Roland; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Gladys was one of a kind. She always had a joke for you or could make you laugh at the drop of a
hat. She loved her family, whether you were close or extended family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Skyline Terrace Nursing Home in Woodstock.
