Hazel Mae Rexrode, age 85, passed away on Thursday, October 13th, 2022. Born on February 12, 1937, she was
the daughter of the late Dalton (Dock) Groah and the late Carrie (Bell) Painter Groah of Fishersville.
Hazel was preceded in death by Robert Austin Rexrode, Robert Douglas Rexrode, Victor Alex Rexrode, Charles
Groah, Maggie Marie Groah, and brother-in-law, Mcgrady (Mack) Sorrels.
Survivors include sisters, Helen Sorrels, Thelma Elrod and husband William; daughter, Tina Williams and husband
Mike; son, Daniel Rexrode; grandkids, Jeremy Rexrode, Michael Williams and wife, Shakeiva, Jason Williams, Cody
Rexrode, Lacie Rexrode and wife, Faith, Vincent Rexrode and wife, Christy; 18 great-grandchildren, and plenty of
nieces and nephews she loved just as much.
Hazel worked for many years at True Value and Family Dollar in Waynesboro until she retired.
