Terry L. Reedy, 49


Terry Lee Reedy, 49, a resident of 2910 Whitmore Shop Road, Harrisonburg, died Feb. 3, 2007, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Reedy was born July 12, 1957, in Rockingham County, and was the son of the late Arlie H. and Tressie Malone Reedy. Mr. Reedy worked for Griffith Bag Company for 33 years. Mr. Reedy was a member of the Mount Clinton Mennonite Church. He enjoyed and dearly loved his grandchildren.

On Dec. 27, 1975, he married the former Nina Hartman, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Travis Reedy, Harrisonburg; a daughter, Tessa Simmons and husband, Robb, Harrisonburg; two sisters, Sandy Payne, Harrisonburg and husband, Sonny, Nancy Fox and husband, Jimmy, Harrisonburg; four brothers, Larry Reedy, Dayton, Arlie Reedy Jr. and wife, Brenda, Verona, Rick Reedy and Dale Reedy, both of Harrisonburg; three grandchildren, Robbie Simmons, Tyler Simmons, Ashley Simmons. He was preceded in death by one brother, Arlie Eugene Reedy.

The Rev. Sam Sponaugle will conduct a funeral service Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the McMullen Funeral Home, Harrisonburg. Burial will follow at Mount Clinton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7 until 8 at the funeral home.
