Ada M. Reedy

Ada Mae Reedy, 94, of 10873 Morning View Road in Singers Glen, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2003, at the home of her daughter.

Ms. Reedy was born Feb. 19, 1909, in Rockingham County, and was the daughter of the late Eli Richard and Mary Frances Ritchie Reedy.

She was employed at Rockingham Poultry and Marvel. She was a homemaker and a member of the Morning View Mennonite Church.

Surviving are two sons, Floyd Reedy of Singers Glen, and Charlie Reedy of Linville; three daughters, Ruth Sonifrank and Shirley Bosserman, both of Broadway, and Dorothy Beall of Boiling Spring, Pa.; 28 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Pastor Harold Emswiler will conduct the funeral 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Zion Church of the Brethren. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 this evening at the McMullen Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.
