Ingeborg Herbst Raybin, 98, formerly of Nashville, TN and more recently of
Staunton, VApassed away on January 25, 2023 at her home.
Known by everyone as Inge, she was born May 3, 1924 in Breslau,
Germany. She was a daughter of the late Magdalena (Wille) Herbst.
Prior to retirement, Inge worked in the interior design industry as an
interior decorator with Custom Corporates in Nashville, TN. She greatly
enjoyed being a part of the Staunton Puppeteers and the Temple House of
Israel Sisterhood.
Inge instilled beauty in everything she touched as exemplified by her
beautiful garden, loved by everyone in the neighborhood.
In addition to her mother, Inge was preceded in death by her husband,
Benjamin Raybin; a daughter, Michelle Raybin Campbell; sister, Helga
Bianchi, brothers Asmus and Erdmann; and son-in-law, Danny Wilhelm.
Survivors include her three children, David Raybin (Kay) of Nashville, TN,
Paul Raybin (Wilma) of Staunton, VA, and Heidi Raybin Wilhelm of
Albuquerque, NM; son-in-law, Rob Campbell of Lancaster, PA;
grandchildren, Jaime Raybin (David), Benjamin Raybin (Sarah), Jennifer
(Raybin) Bowman (John), Samuel Wilhelm, Rachel (Wilhelm) Robinson
(Billy), Alexis Campbell, and Sofia Campbell; and three great-
granddaughters, Layla Raybin, Grace Wilhelm, and Michelle Bowman.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date in Nashville.
