Florence Ann Robinette Peck, of Elkin, NC and formerly of Verona, passed away at
the Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin, NC on Thursday, November 3, 2022.
She was born on August 17, 1930 in Raven, VA, a daughter of the late James R.
and Myrtle Johnson Robinette.
A graduate of Hoanker High School in Honaker, VA she retired after many years
from American Safety Razor in Verona. She was a member of Cavalry Assembly of
God before her health declined. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening,
canning, crafts, and coin collecting.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of forty-five years, Edward Peck,
who passed away in 1994; two sons, Michael, who passed away in 1968 and Gary,
who passed away in 2016; seven sisters; and three brothers. She was the youngest
and last surviving member of her immediate family of eleven.
She is survived by her son, Dwight Peck and his wife Anne of State Rd., North
Carolina: grandsons, Steven, Mike, and Brandon Peck and step-grandsons, Connor,
Alex, and Ryan Nance. Her daughter-in-law, Karen Peck, granddaughter Susan
Peck and her husband Jonas Diener, grandson David Peck and his wife Holly and
great grandchildren Ellie and Rosie.
A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, November 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM at
Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens.
