Robert T. Paxson Jr

.Robert Taylor Paxson Jr., 72, of Muskogee, Okla., passed away Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, in Fort Gibson, Okla. He was born May 22, 1939, in Loudoun County, Va., to Robert Taylor Paxson Sr. and Abbott Allison Grim.

He worked as a produce manager for Safeway for many years. He enjoyed fishing and his favorite football team was the Washington Redskins.

Robert was a member of the U.S. Army and received an honorable discharge on the 23rd day of January 1965.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Jack Paxson and Michael Paxson.

Robert is survived by his wife, Lottie Paxson; daughter, Theresa Blair Paxson; granddaughters, Brooke Sizemore, Lauren Beard and Rachal Paxson; grandsons, Daniel Tyler Beard and Ian Paxson; daughter-in-law, Debbie Paxson; sisters, Beverly Carr and Barbara Dusterhoff.

A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, at Rest Haven Cemetery in Shenandoah, Va.
