Fanny Bell Parker, age 73 of South Fork Road, Moorefield, WV passed
this eternal life, Tuesday evening, January 24, 2023 at the Winchester
Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born on May 11, 1949 at Rig, WV, she
was the daughter of the late James Franklin Delawder and Thelma
Josephine Riggleman Delawder. She was also preceded in death by a
sister, Carmelita E. Shoemaker and brothers Dayton, Randall & Doil
Delawder.
Fanny worked many “jobs” over the years from cooking at the Sunset
Restaurant, Pilgrims Pride, American Woodmark and also as an egg
gatherer. A member of the Tannery Chapel of the Moorefield
Presbyterian Church, she and her husband loved the activities for the
church and others, always helping people in need.
Surviving is her loving husband of 46 years, Rannels “Ronnie” Lee Parker,
Sr., whom she married on November 20, 1976 in Baker, WV. Also left
behind to cherish her memory are two daughters, Casandra J. (Scott)
Greenwalt of Old Fields, WV and Kimberly D. (John) Huff of St.
Petersburg, FL and a son, Rannels L. Parker, Jr. at home. Also, her
grandchildren who were the world to her; granddaughter, Brittany A.
Crislip of Maysville, WV; grandsons, Justin H. Kline of Petersburg, WV
and Nathan S. Greenwalt at home; two great-granddaughters, Tilley
Grace Combs and Kensey I. Kline and a great-grandson Hannon Combs.
Surviving also is a sister, Donna J. Schell of Cabins, WV; a brother,
Kenneth R. Delawder of Purgitsville, WV and numerous nieces and
nephews, of which she cared for and loved as her own.
Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, January 30, 2023
at the Moorefield Presbyterian Church, 109 South Main Street with
Pastor Jim Yao officiant. Interment will follow in the Rock Oak
Cemetery, 7597 Needmore Road, Baker, WV. The family will receive
friends from 2 – 5 PM Sunday at the funeral home.Fraley Funeral Home
