Susan Beth (Alford) Nicholson, 72, of Grottoes, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at University of Virginia Medical
Center.
She was born on July 7, 1951 and was a daughter of Galdys Alford.
Susan was united in marriage on May 16, 2013 to Clyde Nicholson, who survives.
Susan is survived by three children, Gary Tolliver, Sophia Carter, and Isaac Carter; brothers, Bob and SteveAlford; four
grandchildren, Bryce Tolliver, Isaiah Madden, Journey Gray and Reign Gray; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 PM on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023 at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in
Grottoes.
Aservice celebrating Susan's life will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023 at the funeral home, with Chaplain Carrie
Wenger officiating. Burial will be private.
