Elizabeth A. Morley

Elizabeth Allen Morley, 73, of Sunnyside Retirement Community in Harrisonburg, died Friday, July 8, 2005. She had been a resident at Sunnyside for the past eight years.

Mrs. Morley was born Dec. 2, 1931, in Pulaski County, and was the daughter of the late Henry Guthrie and Elizabeth Robinson Allen.

She graduated from Madison College, now James Madison University, and taught elementary school at Mount Clinton and Pleasant Valley. She was a member of Cooks Creek Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth King Morley of Raleigh, N.C., and a brother, Guthrie Allen of Harrisonburg.

The Rev. George Evans will conduct a graveside service 11 a.m. Wednesday at Oaklawn Cemetery in Bridgewater.

Friends may call at the home of Guthrie and Peggy Allen, 826 Oakwood Drive in Harrisonburg at any time.

Arrangements are by McMullen Funeral Home in Harrisonburg. The casket will be closed.
