Pauline M. Mitchell


Mrs. Pauline May Mitchell of Falls Church, Va., died Oct. 15, 2008, at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington.

Daughter of Fred M. Rader and Delilah F. Lough, she was born March 22, 1924, at Franklin, W.Va.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Allen Lee Mitchell, in 1974, and infant son, Daniel, in 1954.

Surviving are a daughter, Pamela and Toby Billings; sons, Dennis and David; grandsons, Paul and Kenneth Billings; three great-grandsons; sisters-in-law, Ethel Chapman, Arletta Molinari, and Charlotte Wratchford; spouses of her husbands’ siblings, Melvin Lonza, Arthur, William, Harlan, Ronald, Donald, and Violet Frank; 11 nieces and 11 nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday, Oct. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Basagic Funeral Home, Franklin, W.Va., with graveside services Oct. 20 at 11 a.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
