Curtis O'Neal Minor was born November 3, 1938, of Charlottesville, Virginia, and departed this life on September 29, 2023.
He attended JP Burley High School where he was a football athlete. He was a dedicated employee for the Michie Company, a
talented baker at the University Cafeteria and worked at Frank IX & Sons for more than 20 years.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Elmo Bates and Florence C. Minor; his sister Jennie Ferguson and brother-in-law
Robert Ferguson; brother George Minor; and his son Glen Johnson.
He lives behind his dear siblings, Barbara Minor, Robert Minor, Rosa Minor and James Minor; his loving wife of six decades
Doris Mae Minor; and his sister-in-law Deloris Goins. Also, his devoted sons Clinton and Clayton O'Neal Minor; cherished
grandchildren, Mica Brock, Asia Minor, Clinton O'Neal Minor, Addysin Star Minor, Tayshaun Minor, Marley Minor, Kiarra, and
Shannon Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
