Ogamay Whittington Miller, 83, of Mt. Jackson, Va passed away October 25, 2023, at her sons’ home. Burial will be private at
Pleasant View Cemetery. Pastor Dan Nicholson will officiate.
Ms. Miller was born on June 10, 1940, in Zepp, Va, daughter of the late Curtis and Mildred Peer Whittington. She was a
member of Cedar Creek Christian Church and was self-employed at Second Edition Consignment Shop in Harrisonburg, VA. She
was a member of the New Market Eagles #4264.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Miller; and her siblings, Margaret Herbaugh, Joe Whittington,
Martha McIlwee, Jim Whittington, Ralph Whittington, Shirley Weaver, and Edsel Whittington.
She is survived by her sons, William Miller (Mary) of Newport News, Va, and Curtis “Zeke” Miller (Sonja) of Mt. Jackson, Va;
grandchildren, Shannell Miller, Cole Miller, Courtney Miller, and Ashleigh Miller; and great grandchildren, Drew Miller, Norah
Thompson, James Thompson, Ayden Wyllis, Gauge Davis, Jonny Kinchion, Ezekiel Thompson, and Julian Kinchion.
The family will receive friends at their home on Sunday, October 29, 2023, from 1-3pm.
The family would like to thank Ogamay’s caregivers, Shandell Powell and Debbie Myers for their compassionate care.
