Donna Anne Miller, 61, of Edinburg, passed away Friday, November 11, 2022 at
Consulate
Health Care in Woodstock. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December
2nd at 5pm
at Shenandoah Community Fellowship located at 197 Patmos Road in Woodstock,
Virginia.
Donna was born October 1, 1961 in Arlington, daughter of the late Richard Walker
Peters, Betty
Jane Wine Bly and stepfather Charles S. Bly of Toms Brook. She was a 1979
graduate of
Central High School and graduated from the Cosmetology Program at Triplett Tech.
Donna was
a caregiver for over 30 years for Ginny Peer of Norfolk who was like a second
mother to her
daughters. She was also a former teacher’s aide in Shenandoah County. She was a
member of
Shenandoah Community Fellowship. Donna was a kind and generous person. She
enjoyed
reading the Bible and listening to KLOVE when she wasn’t surrounded by her
grandchildren she
loved so dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary F. Miller and
brother, Danny
Peters.
She is survived by her mother, Betty and husband Charles S. Bly of Toms Brook;
two
daughters, Brittany Laine Crabill (Travis) of Edinburg and their children, Reagan
Skye Crabill
and Calvin “Lennox” Crabill, and Alyssa Nicole Johnson (Christopher Edgerton) and
furbaby
Baby Joe of Mt. Jackson; brother, David Peters (Denise) of Edinburg and their
family, Ryan
Funkhouser (Natasha), Lindsay McDaniel (Paul), Morgan Peters (Ashley Campos),
Riley
Peters (Caroline) and Amanda Henry (David Wann); sister, Jesse Glover and family
of Union,
WV.; numerous nieces and nephews; two sisters, Brenda S. Shrum and Jane
Johnson; and her
beloved cat, Eli.
