Betty Jean Miller, 81, of Jerome passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Winchester Medical Center. Agraveside service
will be held Saturday, September 30 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery at Jerome. Pastor Freddie Helsley
will officiate.
Mrs. Miller was bornApril 24, 1942, in Woodstock, daughter of the late Edna I. Rickard. She was a 1961 graduate of Central
High School and had worked at Blue Bell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Eugene Miller. Sr.; sister, Hilda
Jenkins; brother, Gerold Rickard; and two brothers-in-law, John Helsley and Bill George.
She is survived by three sons, Brian W. Baker and wife Judy of Toms Brook, James L. Baker and wife Tamara of Mt. Jackson
and Jason A. Miller of Jerome; step son, Lester E. Miller Jr. and wife Kara of Jerome; two sisters, Winnie Helsley and Linda
George both of Woodstock; brother, Robert Rickard and wife Drema of Stuarts Draft; brother-in-law, Gene Jenkins of Stephen
City; sister-in-law, Glena Cooper of Toms Brook; grandchildren, Tyler Baker, Jessie Baker, Gabrielle Miller, Andrew Miller,
Kyle Baker, Logan Baker, Linden Baker, Veronica Sager, Ashley Bradfield, Dwayne Hall and wife Bri, Christopher Hall and
wife Tiffany, and Heather Hall; eight great grandchildren; nine nephews and one niece.
