Lorraine G. Michael, 78


Lorraine Good Michael, 78, of Harrisonburg, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2007, at her home.

Mrs. Michael was born July 10, 1929, near Cross Keys, and was the daughter of the late William C. and Ethel Ruth Crickenberger Good.

She attended Port Republic School, where she played on the basketball team. She was a member of the Grottoes Church of the Brethren and was past Matron of the Shenandoah Valley Chapter No. 76 of the Eastern Star. She was employed at Super Fresh in Harrisonburg until it closed.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan Huffman of Harrisonburg; three brothers, J.M. Good of Anamosa, Iowa, Paul Good of Sydney, Australia, and Bobby Lee Good of Balch Springs, Texas; a sister, Marguerite G. Mangum of Jarratt, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pastor Wayne Wright will conduct a graveside service 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rest Haven Cemetery in Harrisonburg.
