Tony L. Meadows

Tony Lacy Meadows, 72, of 296 Wildflower Lane in Luray, died Friday, March 4, 2005, at Page Memorial Hospital in Luray.

Mr. Meadows was born May 18, 1932, in Virginia, and was a son of the late Henry Lacy Meadows and Mary Gordon Meadows.

He lived in Arlington for 33 years until July 2004, when he moved to Luray. He retired in 1996 after 33 years with Condon Reed in Falls Church, where he was a mechanical engineer.

On Jan. 14, 1976, he married Charlotte Mae Sours, who survives.

He is also survived by two stepsons, Raymond W. McLain of Luray, and Stephen Cressel of Rural Retreat; five stepdaughters, Debra Kalivas of Arlington, Cheryl Litten of Quicksburg, Connie McLain of Sarasota, Fla., Patricia Bauer of Front Royal and Jane Cunningham of Leesburg; a sister, Myrtle Lee Meadows of Port Royal; a brother, Richard Meadows of King George; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, a niece and a nephew.

The funeral was held Sunday at the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray with the Rev. Ralph H. Crabill officiating. Burial was at Hill Crest Cemetery in Jeffersonton.
