Kenth R. McAfee, 54


Kenth "Uncle Kenny Kent" Roosevelt McAfee, 54 of 1076 Old Furnace Road, Apt. B, in Harrisonburg, died Sunday, May 6, 2007, in Luray.

Mr. McAfee was born May 1, 1953, in Luray, and was a son of Shirley Mae Burrill Pouncey of Harrisonburg and the late Phillip Edward McAfee Sr.

He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and was a roofer for Buddy Nelson.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Lori Ann McAfree Lee; two sisters, Eloise Burns and Shirley C. Lester, both of Harrisonburg; two brothers, Willie Lee Pouncey of Harrisonburg and Lester Fontaine Pouncey of Germany; a half brother, Clearence McAfee of Charlottesville; and one grandchild.

The Rev. Clarence Williams will conduct the funeral 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethel Baptist Church, where visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Luray.
