Diana Lee Markley, 71, of Edinburg, VA passed away January 20, 2023, at Consulate
Health Care in Woodstock. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2023,
at 11:00 am at St. Pauls Lutheran Church Cemetery in Jerome. Pastor Robin Ferree will
officiate.
Ms. Markley was born December 10, 1951, in Woodstock to the late Richard Lee and
Dixie Lou Foltz Markley. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Kathy Ann Lear,
Brenda Lou Markley, Tammy Lynn Markley, Michael Allen Markley, and Kim Dale
Markley; sister- in-law, Debbie Markley; and her nephew, Anthony “Tony” Markley.
She is survived by her sisters, Rosalie Markley Osborne and companion Sonny Hinkle
and Sandra Lou Markley; brother, Ricky Lee Markley; nieces and nephews, Crystal
Copenhaver and husband Jimmy, Leslie, Will, and Adam Lear; great nephew, Derek
“Gary” Copenhaver and Markie Allen; great great nephews and nieces, Reagan
Copenhaver, Boone Copenhaver, and Peyton Allen; special friend, Molly Pickett; and her
furry companion, Peanut.
