Samuel Alan Lusk passed away peacefully in the arms of his family on September 25th, 2023, two hours after his birth at the
University of Virginia hospital.
Samuel was the son of Michael and Katherine Lusk ofAlbemarle County. He is survived by seven brothers and sisters: William,
Hannah, Owen, Charlotte, Olivia, Sophia and Viktor, all of the home; paternal grandparents, Maynard and Evelyn Lusk of
Martinsville; maternal grandparents, Lynwood and Jane Barthurst of Montpelier; uncle and aunt, Matthew and Lauren Lusk of
Richmond; uncle, Steven Barthurst ofAshland; along with numerous great uncles, aunts and cousins.
Though his family is deeply saddened by the short time they had with him, they are still so thankful for his precious life.
Agraveside service will be held on Sunday, October 1st, 2023, at 4 p.m. at the Historic St. John’s Church located at 10575
Louisa Road, Gordonsville, VA. Preddy Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
