Comodore “Ollie Lough” age 88 of Old Fields, WV, passed away Tuesday,
January 24, 2023 at his residence. Born on March 30, 1934 in Webster
Springs, WV, he was a son of the late Albert Lough and Rhoda Lee Perkins
Lough.
Ollie was a U.S. Army veteran, who enjoyed hunting and fishing
occasionally. He was a retired truck driver, traveling many miles for work
and was happy to stay home in retirement. He enjoyed planting a garden
and harvesting its bounty, canning for their use.
Surviving is his wife of 37 years, Linda Mae Srout Hintze Lough; a son, Louis
Lough of Ft. Meade, MD and other family members.
Funeral Services will be conducted 1PM Saturday, February 4, 2023 at the
Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastor Dan
Howard officiant. Interment will follow with Military Graveside Rites
accorded by the U.S. Arm and the Moorefield Veteran’s Honor Guard at the
Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time
of services.
