Mary L. Lingo, 85


Mary Louise Lingo, 85, of Moorefield, W.Va., died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, W.Va.

Mrs. Lingo was born May 2, 1921, in Bullards, Ga., and was a daughter of the late John Cranford and Inelia Christian Cranford.

She was a retired secretary for IBM and was a member of Baker’s Chapel Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, William B. Lingo, and two sisters, Ruth Arnold of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Hilda Schostrich of Orlando. Fla.

Pastor Judy Vetter will conduct the funeral 11 a.m. today at Elmore Funeral Home in Moorefield, W.Va. Burial will be at Macon Memorial Cemetery in Macon, Ga.

Friends were received Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
