Theodore “Buddy” Life, 89, of Elkton, died Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.
Born in Rockingham County on June 28, 1934, he was the son of the late Alvin H. and Velma Lam Life.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Doug Life.
Mr. Life was retired from DuPont in Waynesboro. He graduated from Montevideo High School.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Catherine E. Life; his children, Sue Hensley and Sheldon Stoneberger, Brad Life and wife,
Carletta, Jason Life; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Linda Life; extended family Sandy Life.
Amemorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Mt. Zion Church in McGaheysville.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to Mt. Zion Church, 2885 Bloomer Springs Rd, McGaheysville, VA
