Jacqueline Bobbie (Rexrode) Layne, 95, a resident of Waynesboro, VA,
passed away Monday January 30, 2023 at her home.
She was born March 26, 1927 in Highland County, VA, a daughter of the late
Joseph and Eva Ryder (Colburn) Rexrode.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis
H. Layne, Sr.; son, Steve Layne; daughter, Donna Grove; and sister, Mary E.
Harding.
Surviving are her son, Curtis H. Layne, Jr. and wife Deborah; daughters, Roxie
Crickenberger and husband Ronald, Diana McPhatter and husband Monty;
numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and several nieces and
nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday February 3, 2023 at
Augusta Memorial Park, officiated by Pastor Bill Cole.
