Nancy J. Layman, 51


Nancy Jean Morrison Layman, 51, of Broadway, died May 24, 2010, at her residence.

She was born Jan. 24, 1959, in Winchester, and was a daughter of the late Millard V. and Monna E. Howell Morrison.

She was a purchasing agent for Virginia Poultry Growers Co-op. She was a member of the Broadway Baptist Church and the Timberville Women of the Moose.

On Jan. 26, 1980, she married John O. Layman, who survives.

She is also survived by a son, Sean C. Layman, of Broadway; a daughter, Elizabeth R. Layman, of Abingdon; two sisters, Ruth Ann Morrison, of Stafford and Jane M. Sellers of Harrisonburg; and a brother, John P. Morrison, of Harrisonburg.

Her body was cremated.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
