Donald Eugene Lambert, 72, of Timberville, died peacefully at his home on September 28, 2023.
He was born in Harrisonburg on February 26, 1951 and was a son of the late Kerlin Myers and Mary Hilda Snyder Lambert.
Donald was the owner and operator of Lambert Trucking for over 20 years in addition to owning and managing rental units. He
also owned a retail gift shop in the Dayton Farmers Market for 17 years. He was a member of Trissels Mennonite Church near
Broadway. Donald will always be remembered as a man who worked hard to provide. He loved the Lord and always found
pleasure in helping those in need.
On September 19, 1970 he married the former Sandra K. Harper, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter; Tanya K. Miller and husband Aaron, of Harrisonburg, two sisters; JoAnn Teter, of Bridgewater,
Linda Knott and husband James, of Rockingham, a half-brother; Everette Wilkinson, Jr. and wife Jordy, of Rawley Springs, a
grandson; Matthew Hulvey, of Broadway, a granddaughter; Lauren Hulvey, of Broadway and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pastor Harold Miller will conduct a memorial service 11 AM Monday at Trissels Mennonite Church near Broadway. The burial
will be private in Trissels Mennonite Cemetery.
There will not be any services at the Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway, where the arrangements are being handled.
