Trudy Louise Knode, 80, of Woodstock, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Winchester
Medical Center. Services will be private.
Miss Knode was born December 21, 1942, in Washington D.C., daughter of the late John Steward
Knode and Margaret Barrow Knode. She was a 1961 graduate of Central High School and formerly
worked for Shenandoah County Department of Social Service. She was a member of St. Paul’s
United Church of Christ in Woodstock. She was preceded in death by her son, Robin Lambert;
sister, Beverly Ann Dahlgren; and grandsons, Adam Goodier and Andrew Showalter.
She is survived by daughter, B.J. Lambert Goodier and husband Bob of Mt. Jackson and Mary
Lambert Miller and husband Scott of Bristow; granddaughter, Erin Goodier and husband Tony Lin
of Atlanta, Georgia and numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 235 S. Main
Street, Woodstock, VA 22664.
