Richard “Dickie” Henry Kibler, 73, of Woodstock passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at his home.
Dickie was born January 15, 1950, in Woodstock, son of the late Robert and Geneva Kibler. He was preceded in death by
sisters, Joycie Wright, and Mary Ellen Caston.
Dickie is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carolyn; two sons, Jeremy and wife, Brandi and Joshua and wife, Holly; three
grandchildren, Darrin Kibler, Madison Kibler, and Emma Kibler; one brother, Robert Kibler Jr.; and two sisters, Christine
Caston and Nancy Harris.
Dickie was a 1968 graduate of Central High School. He served in theArmy for two years in Vietnam where he was part of
the motorpool. Dickie was employed and retired from Food Lion after more than thirty years of service as the meat
department manager.
Agraveside service will be held at Columbia Furnace Cemetery on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 10:00 am with Pastor
Glen Early officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Columbia Furnace Cemetery Fund, c/o Kay Day, 707
Johnstown Rd., Edinburg, VA22824 or Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork Street, Suite 405, Winchester, VA22601.
