Clara A. Ketterman

Clara Arbogast Ketterman, 94, of Oak Lea Nursing Home, Harrisonburg, died Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, at Oak Lea.

Ms. Ketterman was born Nov. 23, 1907, in Onego, W.Va., and was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Sarah Morral Vance.

She was a homemaker and a member of Weaver’s Mennonite Church in Harrisonburg.

Her husbands, Earl Arbogast and Burrell Ketterman, preceded her in death.

Surviving are four sons, Carl Arbogast of Lake Placid, Fla., Bruce Arbogast of Dover, Pa., Wade Arbogast of Keezletown, and Harold Arbogast of Harrisonburg; two daughters, Olive Arbogast of Leesburg, and R. Catherine Heatwole of Boca Rotan, Fla.; one stepson, Norman Ketterman; three stepdaughters, Thelma Brunk, Avinell Weaver and Sherry Brown; 12 grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 23 step-great-grandchildren.

The Revs. Joseph Shenk, Edith Shenk and Kerry Willis will conduct the funeral 11 a.m. Monday at Weaver’s Mennonite Church. Burial will follow at Weaver’s Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Friends may also call at the home of Harold Arbogast, 750 Virginia Ave., Harrisonburg, at any time.
