Helen M. Keezel

Helen Mae Gillespse Keezel, 84, formerly of Penn Laird, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002, at Avante at Harrisonburg.

Mrs. Keezel was born Nov. 1, 1918, in Lexington, and was the daughter of the late Wyatt Paul and Laura Cecil Donald Gillespse.

She was a retired homemaker and a member of the Massanutten Presbyterian Church.

On Aug. 17, 1949, she married John Calvin Keezel, who preceded her in death May 11, 1989.

She is survived by a brother, Gilbert Gillespse Sr. of Bedford.

Dr. Ted Jones will conduct a graveside service 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Cross Keys Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Kyger-Pence Funeral Home near McGaheysville.
