Joyce Marie Shifflett Johnson, 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 25, 2023, atAugusta Health in Fishersville.
Born on March 24, 1939, in Augusta County, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Hitzleberger and Irene Shifflett.
Joyce dedicated many years of her life to her work at Genicom in Waynesboro as a relay worker.
She is survived by her son, MichaelAllen Leavell, and her daughters, Diana Kay Leavell Mader and Janet Marie Leavell
Robinett.
