Bonnie Mae Hines, 72, of Dayton, passed away Oct. 13, 2023. She was born in Harrisonburg, Va. on March 25,
1951, to Marshall Lee and Lena Eaton Hines. Bonnie grew up in Virginia and loved spending time gardening and
tending to her flowers. She enjoyed collecting dolls and antiques. She cherished her time with her family and loved
being a grandmother. Bonnie was a kind, generous soul who was always there for those in need. She was blessed
with four children, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sisters, Frances Baugher
and husband, Garland, Elizabeth Orebaugh and husband, Steve, Sandra Shifflett and husband, Wylie, Kay See,
Lisa Decker and husband, Stan, and LeAnn Foster and husband, William, and Maxine Hines.
She had two daughters, Janice Fulk and husband, Jerry with their two children, Britany and Cody; and Stephanie
Kinnee and husband, Scott; two sons, Dale Shifflett and wife, Theresa with three children, Helena, Bella, Francis;
her beloved son, Roy (Bo) Edward Shifflett; and her crazy cat, Charlie, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews,
and friends
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas Hines and Roger Hines; sister, Mary Kiser; and brother-in-law,
Ronnie See.
So many lives were changed because of one special life.
