Vivian Elaine Hevener, 77, of Bridgewater, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023, at the Sentara RMH Medical Center.
Miss Hevener was born on January 13, 1946, in Harrisonburg and was a daughter of the lateAndrew Lee and Shirley Mae
(Trimble) Hevener. After graduating from high school, Vivian attended Dunsmore Business College. She worked for more than
20 years at the former Rockingham National Bank. Later she retired from Brown Edwards in 2010. Vivian enjoyed traveling
and loved to read. She was also a lover of cats. Miss Hevener was a longtime member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her nephews, Johnny Botkin, Jimmy Botkin, and Ricky Botkin; nieces, Linda Simmons, Carol Desper, and
Sharon Altizer; and her best friend, Loretta Frantz.
In addition to her parents, Miss Hevener was preceded in death by her sister, Edna L. Botkin.
Agraveside service will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023, at 2 p.m., at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens with Chaplain Russ
Barb officiating.
