Lori L. Hays, 51


Lori Lynn Hays, 51, of Petersburg, W.Va., died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, at the Winchester Medical Center.

Ms. Hays was born Feb. 13, 1957, in Stuttgart, Germany, and was a daughter of Burl Hays Jr. and Sandra Hooe Hays of Petersburg, W.Va.

She was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son, Nicholas Adam Romano of Bealeton; two daughters, Alexandra Lynn Barger of Moorefield, W.Va., and Caitlin Virginia Romano of Bealteton; a sister, Vicki Jo Hays Kopf of Stafford; and four grandchildren.

Father Giles LeVasseur will conduct the funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg, W.Va., where the family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Petersburg with military honors by the Petersburg VFW Post 6454, American Legion Post 78 and the JROTC.
