Sharon Kay Harris, 66, formerly from Dorothy, WV, passed away at her home in Mathias, WV, on Tuesday,
October 4, 2022.
Born on September 17, 1956 in Charleston, WV, she was the daughter of the late Urie Youl Lee Alexander and
Wanda Lee Alexander. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Lynn
Thompson, a brother, Urie Lee Alexander, Jr., and two grandchildren, Destiny Paige Mathias and Ashton Bryce
Mathias.
Sharon is survived by a sister, Linda Sue Rojas, her son, Michael Wayne Harris and wife Melanie, two daughters,
Marsha Kay Mathias and husband Scott and Crystal Gayle Boggess, grandsons, Tristan and Ryan Harris,
granddaughters, Autumn Mongold, Ciara Clay and Kiera Boggess, three great-grandsons: Clayton, Remington,
and Everett, and many nieces and nephews.
Sharon loved when her family would gather together; it would always bring a smile to her face.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Baker,
WV with Pastor Jonathan Hedrick officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to McKee Funeral Home, PO Box 39, Baker, WV 26801 to
help with funeral expenses.
