Christy M. Harbeck, 31


Christy Marie Harbeck, 31, of 82 Chriss Circle in Crimora, was taken tragically and too soon from this world on Monday, Feb. 12, 2007. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, treasured daughter and cherished sister and friend.

She was born March 18, 1975, in Waynesboro, daughter of Clyde Mayo Jr. and Vanessa Berry Mayo.

Christy graduated from Waynesboro High School in 1993. She worked for Duratech, Inc. in Waynesboro until they closed in 2005.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Travis Harbeck; beloved daughter, Kirsten Sierra Soper of Crimora; biological mother, Rebecca J. Early and her husband, Jeramy, of Grottoes; three brothers, Barry Mayo of Augusta County, Mike Mayo and his wife, Monica, of Stuarts Draft, Greg Mayo and his wife, Sherri, of Waynesboro; father and mother-in-law, Joe and Betty Harbeck of Penn Laird; brother-in-law, Curtis Harbeck; godmother, Tressa Corbett of Waynesboro and numerous friends.

Christy will truly be missed by all who had the privilege to know and love her. We will carry a piece of her in our hearts always.

A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Funeral Service by Pastors Gerald Martin and Greg Mayo.

The family will receive friends 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007, at Reynolds Funeral Service.
