Jeffrey Gale Gunsallus, age 48, of Scottsville, Virginia went home to be with the Lord on Saturday January 21, 2023. He was
born October 9, 1974 in Charlottesville, Virginia. Jeff lived his whole life inAlbemarle and Fluvanna Counties.
Jeff grew up with a love for the outdoors, hunting and fishing from an early age, that turned into a passion as an adult. Everyone
who knew Jeff, knows that he enjoyed listening to his coon hounds chasing and treeing coons. This was a love he inherited from
his grandfather Earl Sipe as a very young boy. Jeff also loved grilling and cooking on his smoker and hanging out with friends.
Jeff was always a really hard worker. He started in construction work right out of high school and then went into arborist work.
He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone that needed it, using his God given talents in these fields.
Jeff leaves behind to cherish his memories, his two sons, Chase Gunsallus and fiancé Tiffany, Hunter Gunsallus, one
granddaughterAutumn, his mother Gail Truslow, his stepdad David Mawyer and his wife Tammy, his grandmother Lottie
Harris, three brothers Corbin Gunsallus and wife Diane, Chris Mawyer and Colton Mawyer, one sisterAndrea Gunsallus, many
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will be having a celebration of life on February 4, 2023 at Northside Baptist Church, 1325 Rio Road East,
Charlottesville VA22901. There will be a friends and family time from 12-1, with a memorial service beginning at 1 p.m.
